**Role Overview**:
We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with a strong background in the oil and gas sector, specifically in FPSO projects. The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all quality assurance and quality control procedures are in place, adhered to, and continuously improved throughout the project lifecycle.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Quality Management System (QMS)**:
Develop, implement, and maintain the project-specific Quality Management System in alignment with ISO standards.
Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
- **Project QA Oversight**:
Conduct regular quality audits, inspections, and surveillance activities on FPSO project sites.
Identify and document non-conformances, and lead the resolution process to prevent recurrence.
Ensure that all QA documentation is properly maintained and accessible.
- **Supplier and Vendor Quality Control**:
Review and approve vendor QA/QC documentation.
Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure that materials and equipment meet quality specifications.
- **Engineering & Fabrication Quality Assurance**:
Ensure that engineering designs, drawings, and specifications comply with quality requirements.
Monitor fabrication and construction activities to ensure they are carried out according to approved procedures and quality standards.
- **Testing & Commissioning**:
Oversee testing and commissioning processes to ensure systems meet quality standards before handover.
Verify that all test procedures and results are properly documented.
- **Risk Management**:
Identify potential quality risks and implement mitigating measures.
Participate in risk assessments and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) meetings.
- **Training and Continuous Improvement**:
Provide training to project teams on quality processes and best practices.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimization.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QA role within the oil and gas industry, with specific experience in FPSO projects.
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and industry standards.
- Strong understanding of fabrication, construction, and commissioning processes for FPSOs.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Certification in quality auditing (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) is an advantage.
