**Responsibility**:

- Working with the Network teams on the building and maintaining the day-to-day operation of Network Infrastructure that companies and organizations rely on. These networks typically dark fiber, DWDM, switching and IP.
- Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems.
- Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the networking industry.
- Oversee new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.
- Configure networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
- Monitor, test and troubleshoot network performance.
- Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
- Participate in managing all network security solutions.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree in Information Technology related field of study with a network engineering focus.
- 3-5 years of relevant working experience.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches.
- LAN, WAN and Network security experience.
- Team leadership experience will be an added advantage.
