Deputy Manager/ Manager in Loan Operations

**Responsibilities**:

- Possess knowledge of banking laws, regulations, and industry best practices pertaining to loan documentation for credit and security laws in tax haven jurisdictions.
- Collaborating with legal specialists, banking and financial professionals (relationship managers, credit advisors, IT personnel, product managers), and tax advisors to prepare, draft, review, and update loan documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Ensuring that loan documentation accurately reflects approved credit conditions and implements controls as required by banking credit and security guidelines.
- Assisting in developing and implementing internal policies, procedures, and controls, including the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies.
- Handling daily tasks such as setting up new loans, conducting due diligence, establishing limits, monitoring exposure and collateral, tracking margin-to-equity ratios (MERs), monitoring overdrafts, and initiating margin calls.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implements necessary changes.
- Developing training programs for internal staff on banking credit and security regulations.
- Monitoring and reports on non-performing loans when necessary.
- Providing coverage for corporate loan processes.
- Undertaking additional duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum a bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance or a relevant discipline, with minimum 3 years’ related working experience in Loan Operations/Credit Admin
- Experienced in PB loans would be an advantage
- Ability to lead and guide other team members of its useage and implementations.
- Proficient in speaking and writting in English/Chinese to liaise with Chinese speaking headquarter counterparties
- Good communicatior with strong negotiating and problem solving skills
