**Purpose of the Role**
The Global Supply Chain Asia Field Service Director:
- Provides proactive leadership, support, and alignment to the Asia Markets/Developmental Licensees (DLs), Asia Business Unit (ABU), and Global Supply Chain (GSC).

Support market growth plans and long-term vision by providing market perspective in the development of GSC strategies; Include GSC perspective in market strategic planning process.

Support markets talent development and succession plans.
Provide markets access to Supplier Engagement tools and framework to support markets in their management of suppliers.
Facilitate best practice sharing across Field Service team, B.U., and markets.

Promote markets to self-sufficiency through simplification and empowerment.

Assess DL performance against supply chain standards via DL Business Reviews, market visits, and other tools as needed.
Provide business proposal consultation.
Champion IDL Segment Communication protocol within GSC to ensure transparent, timely, and relevant communication to stakeholders.
