Our client is a global leader in specialty chemical. Due to expansion plan, they are setting up a new chemical plant in Western part of Singapore. They are looking to hire top talents to be part of the team and create solutions for a sustainable future

**PROCESS ENGINEER
- Responsible for implementing processes, scaling up products and troubleshooting issues that occur during processing in operations.
- Develop and execute plans for launching new processes, launching new products, and producing experimental orders at Singapore Plant so that all internal and external requirements are met.
- Coordinate projects in an effective manner.
- Collaborate with market and technical researchers to understand customer needs and translate those needs into manufacturing specifications.
- Troubleshoot and implement corrective actions to resolve equipment, processing or product quality issues.
- Ability to set up new processes and equipment to achieve product performance.
- Work closely with business unit managers, project teams, operators and customers in order to commercialize new products.
- Participate in design of production equipment, design reviews and development of programming controls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve processing issues related to new product startup and to commercialized products.
- Document experimental order plans, projects and customer information according to standard work measures.
- Ability to travel international for training and meetings (25%)

**Requirements,**
- Degree in chemical engineering/science/ or equivalent experience
- Min 5years and above, experience in product development/process engineering, preferably from specialty chemical, manufacturing industry.
- Ability to read, understand, and modify PLC ladder logic (Allen Bradley Controls) a plus.
- **Ability to work in flexible, non-structured environment**
- **Someone who likes to take ownership and accept new challenges**

**Successful incumbent will be sent to US, HQ for training*

Location: Jurong, Tuas

**Salary**: S$6500 - S$8500per month (Attractive remuneration package)
