Working with your colleagues from Corporate Finance and Finance, you will be part of the team responsible for the preparation of monthly consolidated financials and management reporting packs, quarterly Board papers, and the Group’s yearly budget and financial statements. As part of the monthly management reporting pack, you will need to perform a detailed analysis of the variance against budget and last year and forecast of the Group’s results.

To perform well in this role, you will need to have an analytical mind. You will also need to have strong accounting knowledge on revenue recognition and Singapore corporate taxation. Being a team player is a must.

**Responsibilities**:

- Financial closing and preparation of monthly consolidated financial and management reporting packs.
- Work with external bookkeepers and tax agents to ensure that filings are completed on a timely basis.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises.
- Work closely with both external and internal auditors to ensure compliance Statutory and Group reporting requirements.
- Support operational transactions including reviewing revenue contracts for revenue recognition, and review of invoicing and payment transactions.
- Handle other projects and finance related duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Accountancy or Qualified CPA / CA equivalent.
- 5 years of working experience of which at least preferably 2 years are from one of the Big 4 accounting firms.
- Strong technical competency in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.
- Experience in cross-border accounting, treasury and tax considerations is a plus.
- Analytical and strong business acumen with ability to think on the feet.
- Ability to work under pressure, independently, managing multiple stakeholders, initiatives and tasks effectively.
- Ability to exercise right judgement on the need for diplomacy and/or being assertive when ambiguity arises.
