Senior Accountant

This position manages the day-to-day financial functions for MRO and ACM LOBs and performs financial closing and reporting activities for all the business units.
- Description/Tasks:
- Review and post month-end and adjustment JEs
- Design and prepare reporting dashboard including margin analysis
- Prepare monthly analysis and reports
- Assist in preparation of annual budget
- Co-ordinate with internal and external auditors to conduct audit and accounting inspection
- Prepare tax forecast and estimates
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, local regulations and US GAAP
- Implement and document Delegation of Authority, Accounting and Controls Processes in line with SOX requirements
- Work closely with Senior Financial Analyst to support FP&A tasks
- Assist SMF to drive continuous improvement for Finance team
- Assist SMF for Global transformation projects & new IT system rollouts
- Qualification/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other related disciplines with CPA qualification
- Minimum of 5 years relevant accounting experience
- Proficient use of SAP is essential
- CPA qualification required
- Experience in Aviation industry would be an advantage
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision and direction
- Able to consult with management on financial issues with a hands-on perspective.
- Good command of both written and spoken English
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Any Ad-hoc duties assigned by the Company
