About The Team
The Content Ecosystem team at TikTok works to ensure the global content ecosystem is safe and enjoyable for its users. The team develops strategies, policies and methodologies to keep the content ecosystem safe and sustainable in the long-term.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the Content Ecosystem - Issue Discovery team, guiding the team in identifying new trends and issues within the TikTok content ecosystem. The core responsibilities include designing detection strategies & analyzing issues
- Develop the team's working mechanisms and key performance indicators, ensuring that the team's work aligns with ecosystem changes and business development.
- Establish effective cross-team/department collaboration mechanisms to ensure the timely and effective resolution of high-priority issues.
- Responsible for the TikTok ecosystem issue discovery operations, discovering potential ecosystem issues and collaborating with cross-functional teammates to resolve issues.
- Develop Comprehensive Issue Discovery Methodology and Success Metrics: Design and implement a robust end-to-end methodology for issue discovery, encompassing identification, classification, resolution, and measurement.
- Conduct Trend Analysis and Root Cause Investigation: Utilize a data-driven approach to efficiently and proactively identify potential content quality and experience issues.
- Create Insightful Reports and Visualizations: Develop and deliver comprehensive reports and visualizations that clearly communicate analysis findings, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders. Ensure that insights are actionable and support informed decision-making.
**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Bachelor degree or above, with more than 5 years of work experience.
- Data Skill : Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and report generation. Proficiency in SQL or any other programming language.
- Industry Skill: Proven experience in designing and implementing issue discovery methodologies or any one of the following: data science, risk analysis, or risk governance, along with extensive experience in creating and presenting reports and visualizations that clearly address key points.
- Management Skill: Ability to partner with cross-functional teams to identify and address process improvements. Experience in project management or personnel management is a plus.
**Preferred Qualification**:
- Good sense and understanding of ecosystem and content, in safety/ecosystem governance.
- Responsible and tenacious, can turn ambiguous problems into clear solutions; long-term value oriented.
