Scooterson Singapore is an engineering and manufacturing company, part of a USA-based Tech Unicorn in the mobility space, focusing on developing and manufacturing a range of light electric vehicles, from two-wheeler (bikes, scooters, motorcycles) to 4-wheels Low-Speed Vehicles (LSVs).
We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Manager to join our team and manage the social media presence of our lifestyle brand. As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that align with our brand identity, engage our target audience, and drive brand awareness and growth. You will oversee the management of our social media accounts, curate and create compelling content, interact with our community, and analyze performance metrics to optimize our social media efforts.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our brand values, objectives, and target audience.
- Manage and maintain our social media accounts, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Create and curate engaging and visually appealing content for our social media platforms, including high-quality images, videos, graphics, and written captions.
- Stay up to date with current trends, popular topics, and relevant conversations within the lifestyle industry to ensure our content remains fresh and appealing.
- Foster and nurture a positive online community by actively engaging with our followers, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor social media platforms for mentions, tags, and conversations related to our brand, and proactively engage with influencers, partners, and customers to foster relationships and build brand advocacy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, design, and product, to ensure consistency in brand messaging and alignment of social media efforts with overall marketing initiatives and product launches.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns and promotions to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions, including influencer collaborations, contests, giveaways, and user-generated content campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics, such as follower growth, engagement rates, reach, and conversions, to measure the effectiveness of our social media strategies and campaigns. Use these insights to continually optimize our approach and improve performance.
- Stay informed about emerging social media platforms, tools, and best practices, and make recommendations for incorporating new strategies, features, and trends into our social media efforts.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably within the lifestyle or fashion industry.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and best practices, particularly Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Strong creative skills with the ability to conceptualize and create visually appealing and engaging content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling captions and effectively communicate our brand's voice and messaging.
- Proficient in social media management tools, scheduling platforms, and analytics tools to monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance.
- Strong understanding of target audience segmentation and the ability to tailor content to resonate with different demographics.
- Up-to-date with the latest lifestyle industry trends, including fashion, beauty, wellness, home decor, and travel.
- Familiarity with influencer marketing and experience in building and managing influencer partnerships.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
