The Challenges

The Regional WMS Lead is responsible to help stitch all internal systems as well as external systems together to get a single IT solution. Own all IT deliverables in terms of technical as well as interface specs, capacity sizing, testing and performance parameters, API integrations and information exchanges between myriad systems.

This person would be able to further integrate all performance
capabilities comprising Infor WMS, API Integration streamline into one solution sets

Participate in design discussion of the Warehouse Management System
(WMS) for Key Customer Accounts locally and regionally.

Engage in Customer On-boarding projects of WMS on standard
solutions for small-to-medium size customer accounts, Post Office
Network.

Participate in evaluating enhanced functionality feature of WMS
Solution Suite.

Vendor interaction of Offshore Development Team for solution
assurance and performance scalability

Help to prepare IT Proposals for prospective Customer Accounts.

Participate in project implementation of WMS locally
and regionally.

Gather and understand technical, business, and operational requirements for WMS to provide a suitable IT solution at project kickoff.

Suggest query optimization or db query optimization to improve the system
performance

Support and coordinate UAT, Training and

Production Cutover for GO LIVE to Engage with the offshore development team to complete projects within the promised quality, time
and cost metrics.

Manage Change Requests from Business Units and scope of work (SOW) for the Offshore Development Team.

Prepare handover document of new project implementations to the Support Team.

Ensure that all changes to WMS Application adhere to the
Change Management Procedure.

Participate in the Change Review Board to prioritize changes.

Ensure that approved change requests are released to the Offshore Development Team with proper documentation.

Work closely with other Group Tech departments to ensure monthly deployments are being executed successfully.

Ensure all parties adhere to the agreed release management procedure.

What It Takes

 Degree in Computer Science.

10 years of experience in IT Solution Architecture, System Design, System
Optimisation and/or Database Design

A good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Project Management Methodologies.

Professional Certification in Project Management Methodologies (preferably AGILE) has an advantage.

Experience in working with Infor Warehouse Management Systems is a must
