**About this role**
This role as a Façade Engineer, you will aim to develop key knowledge and skills that will allow you to provide a high quality of consultancy services. This may take the form of undertaking relevant modelling, analytical research, and design work within your relevant business area. An enthusiasm to explore and develop skills in all types of cladding, glazing, walls, and roofs that form modern building envelopes is essential.

**What will I do?**
- Undertake the design, engineering, and documentation, provide specialist input, resolve technical problems, and ensure quality of products and services on projects
- Reviewing the drawings and calculations
- Conduct inspections during construction, installation and fabrication on concrete and structures
- Attend meetings with Architects to provide engineering input to the design
- Communicating with the design team with all aspect of the projects

**What will I bring?**
- Good structural analysis and elements design (ie, steel and concrete) skills, knowledge in 3D structural model software and Finite Element Modelling (FEM) will be advantageous with basic knowledge in 3D CAD software and parametic design tools (ie.Rhino and Grasshopper)
- Knowledge of the following design softwares:

- Rhino (Intermediate)
- Grass Hopper (Intermediate)
- Revit (Intermediate)
- Sketch-Up (Intermediate)
- GSA or equivalent (Basic)
- Autocad (Basic)
- Strand 7
- Good literacy, numeracy skills and Microsoft Office Suite
