**YOUR CHALLENGE**:
**GENERAL DESCRIPTION**

The Portfolio Manager (“PM”) is a member of Asia Investment Management (AIM) division i.e. Bank Julius Baer’s (the “Bank”) investment management competence center for Asia strategies. His/her main responsibilities include the day-to-day management and monitoring of the Asia Fixed Income Discretionary Portfolio Management (“DPM”) mandates, UCITs Funds and Structured Products offered to the Bank’s High Net Worth clients.

The incumbent is expected to work closely with the Relationship Managers (“RMs”) to understand the clients’ unique goals, risk profiles and ensuring the consistent implementation of mandates against the mandate’s stated guidelines or clients’ requirements. The PM will also be responsible for the oversight of the strategies managed by him/her, which includes ensuring the compliance of DPM mandates, UCITs Funds and Structured Products with the applicable laws and regulations. The Fixed Income PM should have prior relevant experience and a proven record of accomplishment in the Asia Fixed Income Portfolio Management field.

- Ensure appropriate ethical and compliant behaviour within the area of responsibility by clear demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

**SKILLS REQUIREMENTS**

**Personal and Social**
- Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage more than 100 client portfolios and various Asia Fixed Income products
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage stress in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Passionate about financial markets and bonds
- Flexible and adaptable

**Professional and Technical**
- Excellent track record with at least 8 years of relevant Asia Fixed Income experience in Portfolio Management and/or Fundamental credit analysis
- Extensive knowledge in Financial Markets, Financial Instruments, regulation, economic theories, analytical and valuation tool, in particular relating to Fixed Income investing in Asia
- Proficiency in Financial Software such as Bloomberg, Reuters and etc, Excel and other research tools
- University degree and sound academic background in Finance.
- CFA as well as other relevant professional qualification is an advantage.
- CACS Paper 1 and 2
- CMFAS Module 3, Module 6

**Regulatory**
- MAS RNF registered representatives to perform the regulated activities in Fund Management
- Familiar with regulatory expectations and requirements
