**Opportunity**:
The Regional Commercial Leader for New Products is the senior commercial leader for the new products portfolio in the Asia Pacific (AP) region. Accountable for accelerating and preparing for successful launches in alignment with the Global Strategy, in synergy with Regional Functions, and under the guidance of Regional Leadership. This position reports directly to the Executive Director, Regional Marketing Lead, Vaccines & Pharm, Asia Pacific.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

**Market Insights & Needs**
- Develop Comprehensive Commercial Strategy and line of sight for pipeline assets
- Understand disease burden and unmet needs, market and competition, policy, and access environment
- Identify market needs (development, value evidence, cross-functional resources, key opportunities and challenges, etc.)
- Map and profile key customers across the ecosystem. Customer engagement to identify Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and engage and build relationships for new therapeutic areas
- Work closely with country New Product Leads and cross functional teams. Support recruitment and onboarding of NPLs in markets as necessary.
- Conduct and lead forecast scenarios and conduct New Product commercial assessments, develop country prioritization list in collaboration with Global Leads
- Understand and defend local requirements back to global Product Development Teams & other steering committees, required to launch or to obtain access such as local clinical trials, local data, etc.
- Facilitating and rallying support from functional experts for non-commercially related market needs and insights.

**Strategic Choices**:

- Co-develop Global Strategy Lead into ECT/GCT and Global Teams with input and concurrence from local leadership and functions.
- Develop New Products voice for the Region in advance of global commercial leadership (i.e. GHHOC/HHLT) meetings for Stage Gate Reviews; develop regional prioritization strategy and communicate key considerations.
- Align with Local and Regional functions on New Product Regulatory, Policy, Access, Medical, CORE and Supply strategies

**Engagement and Execution**:

- Create and lead regional cross-functional New Products Teams and secure close link with Regional Leadership to generate AP specific and strategic inputs
- Plan and execute tactics aligned with New Product Global Strategy
- Drive patient-focused customer engagement and (upcoming) experience
- Collaborate with Market Access colleagues on Value Demonstration and Affordability
- Prepare implementation of Go-To-Market strategies, digital channels and beyond-the-pill solutions
- Incorporate upcoming EGTM Framework and embed in NP planning processes for the region

**WHAT YOU MUST HAVE**:

To be successful in this role, you will also have:

- BA/BS degree from accredited university. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Deep understanding of AP pharma and vaccine market dynamics, clinical development and regulatory, minimum of 8 years industry experience in marketing, commercial operations, access, consulting or BD roles or similar.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to generate high level business recommendation based on market insights gathered.
- Strong business acumen, analytical skills and ability to transfer insights into commercial portfolio strategies
- Solid project management skills and track record of leading projects to successful and timely completion.
- Strong leadership, communication skills and ability to collaborate across the organization and with various stakeholders. Demonstrated experience and ability leading matrix structures and personnel, influence others, achieving results without direct line authority, energize and motivate a team to follow his/her direction,
- High learning agility and team player. Ability to operate in a multicultural environment and show interest and understanding of cultural differences.
