**Responsibilities**:

- Leading and developing the eCommerce distribution coverage for APAC & East Asia
- Lead change management efforts across the bank to extract value from market electronification, eCommerce distribution and strategy, by understanding the clients needs and evolving trading strategies to guide the bank's distribution strategy through cross selling and cross fertilization with voice activity.
- Drive the process from originating new client opportunities and ensuring smooth rollout to successful commercialization
- Establish close working relationships with APAC and East Asia sales, trading, operations and technology teams to drive forward the eCommerce agenda helping to expand SMBC's eCommerce business.
- Lead and be accountable for recommendations that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the eCommerce strategy, focusing on new initiatives pertaining to enhanced capabilities, cost management and in alignment with overall GMTAP strategic priorities
- Assist in the creation of innovative trading products as well as pricing, execution or hedging techniques.
- Assist in product development initiatives to facilitate project completion and rollout across SMBC business units such as payments and transaction banking.
- Be the primary contact point for client and liquidity providers on electronic trading platforms
- Contribute to the development of data and statistics on electronic distribution performance at the relevant level (product, client, country).
- Have a standardized and systematic approach to reviewing eCommerce client setup (spreads, user enablement) to ensure monetization of electronic flows.
- Disseminate information internally to Sales and Trading and drive the banks adaptation to new business models.
- Manage all day to day risks efficiently and in a well-controlled manner, from the automated market making business
- Ensure that activities comply risk management policies covering market, operational, credit, regulatory risk frameworks

**Job Requirements**
- At least 10 years industry experience dedicated to FX front office (market making, risk management, liquidity aggregation, algorithmic trading, high frequency trading and sales)
- University Degree. Post graduate degree with a finance specialization preferred.
- Detailed understanding of markets eCommerce products and associated systems
- Strong corporate and institutional client relationships in FX markets
- Experience of FX analytics
- Understanding of full life cycle of electronic products workflow, from client execution through to market interaction
- Understanding of trading and hedging strategies along with specific market idiosyncrasies
- Demonstratable and thorough understanding of the regulatory environment affecting FX sales and Trading business
