Singapore Lam Research Full time

**Responsibilities**:
This position, based in Singapore is an internship for law students interested in learning more about working in a corporate legal department. Under supervision of Global Legal Service team members, the intern will receive a variety of work assignments in multiple practice areas, which may include: commercial contracts, data use and rights, confidentiality and more. The intern will also learn first-hand about Lam business operations and interact with the Global Legal Service’s business clients.

As a Legal Intern, you will have the chance to:

- Participate in Legal forums, led by senior legal leadership
- Interact with Global Legal Services team members around the world
- Attend fun virtual social events with fellow interns

**Other Job Responsibilities**
- Shadow members of the Global Legal Services team
- Learn how a contract management system (“CMS”) works and experience firsthand how an inhouse legal department utilizes data analytics
- Access CMS records and assist with managing of contract attributes based on the executed records.
- Update report for contract assignments
- Assist in providing legal and/or CMS training for business clients
- Systems thinking to streamline and document contract processes
- Review and edit Lam templates, legal playbooks
- Legal research on cross-jurisdictional issues
- Complete projects in a variety of practice areas under supervision of Global Legal Service attorneys

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Good standing as a first-year or second-year law student from a Singapore university law school.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Strong contract drafting skills
- An interest in the in-house legal environment
- Demonstrated academic excellence and leadership ability, personal and professional accomplishments,
- Excellent written and oral communication and legal research skills
- Proven ability to translate ideas into action
- Teamwork, interpersonal & relationship-building skills
- Attention to detail
- Multi-lingual
