**About the Programme**:

- To be responsible for supervision and teaching of junior staff including House Officers, Medical Officers and Trainees.
- To assist in developing and expanding the scope of service by creating appropriate clinical pathways for different patient profiles
- To analyse and identify areas of improvement in services rendered and quality of care provided.
- To participate in interdisciplinary collaborations with other specialties and allied health partners.
- To assist in weekly rostered after-hours, on-call duties (can be done from home).
- To participate in departmental CME sessions.

As a **Resident Physician**, you are also required to carry out duties as directed by your supervisor and the Head, Department of Medicine. You shall demonstrate good diagnostic and clinical management acumen and perform any other duties as directed by the Head of Department or the Chairman Medical Board of the Hospital. As a team player, you are encouraged to participate actively in team meetings and discussions, and champion clinical excellence within the department.

**Job Requirements**:

- Basic medical degree from an accredited medical university or medical school.
- Possess 3 years of post housemanship clinical experience, ideally with experience in hospital medicine or internal medicine.
- Should demonstrate good technical skills including venepuncture, IV cannula insertion
- Should demonstrate excellent communication skills needed for teleconsultation and virtual care, as well as multidisciplinary care
- Should demonstrate expertise in managing general medical conditions and complications
- Should look to improve standards of clinical practice
- Ensure commitment to the conduct of medical ethics and manage any conflict of interest
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention precautions, including Personal Protective Equipment and hospital ART / RRT requirement
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (1st dose, 2nd dose, and booster jab)
