**Position Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **System Administration and Security**:
Manage critical systems, including servers, workstations, and network devices.
Implement and enforce security configurations and policies across all systems.
Perform system hardening and vulnerability assessments.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot security software and appliances.
- **CIS Hardening and Compliance**:
Ensure adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., CIS Benchmarks, NIST, GDPR).
Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing to identify and address security gaps.
- **Incident Response and Threat Hunting**:
Investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware outbreaks, data breaches, and denial-of-service attacks.
Conduct in-depth threat-hunting activities to proactively identify and neutralize advanced threats.
- **Security Monitoring and Analysis**:
Monitor security logs, alerts, and threat intelligence feeds to detect and respond to malicious activity.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration with a strong focus on cybersecurity.
- In-depth knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network protocols.
- Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint security.
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, CISSP) are a plus.
