- Machine buyoff and process setup to setup a new pilot line and then convert it into a production line.
- Conduct process characterization and qualification to establish process baseline.
- Establish specifications, workflow, quality and safety related documentation for production line, review and update periodically to reflect latest requirement and instructions.
- Support customer NPI activities and internal engineering activities.
- Troubleshoot process issue and improve process capabilities, yield and cycle time from customer NPI stage to LVM/HVM stage.
- Process sustaining and control through SPC and periodic defect Pareto Analysis. Lead and drive SPC control towards zero defects. Review and update FMEA, Control plan OCAP with cross-functional teams.
- Provide disposition for engineering and production lots.
- Coordinate and liaise with vendor/suppliers on process issue or quality issue.
- New material, process & machine development and qualification.
- Handle and manager customer audits and 8D reports.
- Ad hoc duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
- Additional responsibility for Principal-Level Position:
- Oversee and lead the team in the assigned process area.
- Provide training and guidance to junior level.
- Main contact for the process-related matters in the assigned process area.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Min Bachelor’s Degree in Chemicals, Materials Science, microelectronics, mechanical engineering or relevant engineering degrees.
- Knowledge in process engineering, process control engineering and yield enhancement. At least 3-years hands-on process experience in area of in the Wafer-level Fanout packaging production line or LCD/FPD production line as below:
- Die Preparation: Backgrind, Dicing and Laser-grooving
- Recon: Die PnP/Molding/De-bonding. For PnP, DATACON QUANTUM/ASM Nucelus.
- RDL Process: Wet, Thin Film, Litho, and AOI.
- Backend Process: Ball mounting, Reflow, Laser Grooving and Package Sawing.
- Experience in SPC, DOE, FEMA, and 8D reports.
- Good communication Skills and team player.
- Able to work in fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Ability to work independently and with less supervision is required for Senior Engineer and above.
