
Technical Sales Engineer

**Responsibilities and duties**:
1) Customer Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Understand customer requirements and provide expert guidance on CNC machining, 3D printing and sheet metal solutions.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide accurate quotations.
2) Technical Expertise:
- Deep understanding of our CNC machining, 3D printing and sheet metal solutions
- Collaborate with engineering teams to offer customized solutions to customers and requirements are met.
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers, helping them select the right solutions for their projects.
3) Sales and Business Development:
- Identify new sales opportunities and target markets within the industry, including industries like semiconductors, aerospace, medical, and manufacturing.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective customers showcasing the company's capabilities and benefits.
- Customize presentations to address the specific needs and challenges of each customer.
- Address technical questions and concerns during presentations.
4) Market Research:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, emerging technologies and market dynamics.
- Analyze market insights to identify opportunities for product and service improvements.
- Report market insights to the sales and marketing teams.
5) Quoting and Pricing:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests for quotations (RFQs).
- Prepare accurate and competitive price quotes, taking into account material costs, labor, and other factors such as finishing and heat treatment.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to secure orders.
6) Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and prospects using ERP software.
- Generate regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
- Track and report on progress toward sales targets
7) Customer Support:
- Provide post-sales support by ensuring orders are processed smoothly and delivered on time.
- Address customer concerns, complaints, or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with the customer service and operations teams to meet customer expectations.
8) Collaboration:
- Collaborate with colleagues in sales, marketing, engineering, and production to ensure a coordinated approach to customer acquisition and retention.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and improve products and services.
9) Training and Self-Development:
- Continuously update knowledge of industry trends, materials, and processes.
- Attend relevant training sessions and workshops to enhance technical and sales skills.
- Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth within the company.
**Qualifications**:
1) Minimum N-level qualification.
2) Excellent communication and presentation skills.
3) Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
4) Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
5) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application.
6) Self-motivated and able to work independently as a team with mínimal supervision.
7) Strong customer services skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
8) Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
