The Safety and Risk Consultant is responsible for professionally and efficiently deliver projects relating to process safety and risk.

1. Risk and safety consultant, with strong background in QRA methodologies and software tools, developing safety cases in line with Singapore MHD regulatory requirements. Knowledge of other safety regulatory regimes within Southeast Asia has an added advantage.
2. Strong knowledge on HAZID, HAZOP, SIL/LOPA, Human Factors (HF), Dust Hazard Analysis (DHA), bowties and ALARP demonstration workshop methodologies
3. Working with the BMT Sales team for development of risk management advisory proposals in accordance with client's requirements
4. Deliver projects independently and meet customers’ expectations
5. Customer network within the risk and safety industry; identify and help to secure new client relationships and project opportunities

In addition to these duties, the post holder may be required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required, from time to time, to achieve the above role purpose.

**Job Requirement**
Essential for this position:
1. At least 5 years’ experience with risk management advisory services with a strong consultative and problem-solving mindset
2. Engineering/Masters degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
3. Proven track record in Project and Customer management
4. Exposure to asset management advisory services e.g. Asset Integrity, RAM, FSA etc. has an added advantage
5. Strong command of spoken and written English
6. Strong communication and presentation skills in initial approaches for projects and business leads
7. Be a team player with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate across other functional groups and other offices
8. Be passionate about new ideas (digitalisation, data analysis etc.), improving operational efficiencies, challenging status quo and embracing change etc.
