**Job Description**:
**Role description**

The Events Marketing and Engagement Strategist function in the events department is responsible for the successful delivery of our company-wide event portfolio at MyRepublic - this portfolio includes customer, partner, industry, employer & employee events. This function is responsible for both the strategy and delivery of our sponsorships and events as well as supporting the business to define & execute targeted sponsorships and events through self-service playbooks and resources.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who will partner with the business and work alongside the production/delivery team on some of the most significant sponsorship and event productions. In addition, this role supports the delivery of the complete sponsorship & event portfolio through the development & deployment of event marketing and engagement strategies.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Provide support in the development of marketing strategies, communication campaigns, and engagement opportunities, pre, during and post our events that sit within our global events portfolio. This role works both independently and as part of the larger team to define these strategies and works internally & externally to dive deep on the needs, business objectives and trends/innovations to propose suitable marketing and communication strategies
- Work closely with our wider marketing teams to ensure language is consistent on key narratives. This role will also partner with creative, production, delivery & operational teams to move from paper to experience

- An undergraduate pursuing a Polytechnic diploma/ Bachelors programme in Business/ Marketing, preferably in the second/third or final year of studies
- Self-starter with a Get-Things-Done attitude
- Resourceful and learn independently
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn
- Highly adaptable with the ability to work well across departments

- Experienced working in a fast-paced, start-up environment
- Experienced working with partners on commercial deals and collaborations
- Expertise/understanding of the Telecommunications industry
- Proficient in the Google Workplace
- Proven record of ideation, development and execution of projects
