Fundamentals of a Wafer Fabrication Equipment
Project Objective / Purpose (Introduction)
Project Description
Interns will be attached to a Module and get to learn:
1. Overview of the wafer fabrication process
2. Purpose/function of the tool
3. The different tool types
4. Parts of the tools
5. Controls of the tool
6. Preventive maintenance for tools
7. Shadowing mentor to assist the works inside the Fab
Project Outcome
Interns will gain experience in the semiconductor industry, demonstrate a good understanding of the equipment module and able to do a presentation of the learning outcome. At the end of the internship, an overall report to summarize their learning experience with recommendations for improvement is required.
Required Qualifications:
Field of study in Electrical Engineering
