**THE COMPANY**

Speech Graphics’ technology automates facial animation processes by interpreting content in the voice audio, to drive detailed models of the muscle systems involved in speech.

The software is used to great effect in the video games industry, saving studios significant time, effort and money in realizing the highest quality output for AAA titles such as ‘Halo Infinite’, ‘The Last of Us Part II’ and ‘Star Wars: Squadrons’.

As part of this expansion we are excited to be offering opportunities in Singapore, triggered by a new partnership established with NetEase Games, supporting their video game studios to utilize Speech Graphics' technology and to engage with clients in China, Japan, and Korea. Speech Graphics is looking for a talented Animator with excellent technical ability in all aspects of skinning, rigging and tool creation to join our growing team.

**The Role**:
As Senior Animator, you will be responsible for setting up characters to support our award-winning facial animation system, evaluate and debug character rigs, and support the team in various areas of character production.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leverage your expert understanding of facial animation and pose physically accurate character faces to be animated by the Speech Graphics facial animation system
- Review character rigs to identify potential issues with animation fidelity and control
- Master our proprietary software and contribute to the design of both internal and external tools
- Collaborate with and support external clients
- Do peer reviews and lead the way in maintaining high quality standards for the team
- Mentor other team members and help foster a culture of growth

**Requirements**:
**Required Skills**:

- 5+ years of professional game development or animation experience
- Senior level of experience in character animation with a focus on facial animation
- Proficient in the character rigging process, with the ability to evaluate both simple and complex rigs
- Highly proficient working in Maya
- Fluent in English and Mandarin is an added advantage
- Experience crafting and implementing animations in game engines like Unreal, Unity or other proprietary game engines.
- Deep understanding of facial anatomy, expression, and motion
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to receive and provide constructive feedback
- Ability to work under deadlines, provide accurate task estimates, and managing time
- Ability to work independently but also excels at collaborating in a team environment

**Desirable Criteria**:

- The desirable criteria are a bonus and not firm requirements to apply._
- Team management experience
- Proficient in other 3D tools such as Blender, 3D Studio Max, and Motionbuilder
- Knowledge of character modeling techniques
- Interest in speech and languages
