- We are looking for someone to join us as a Lead Software Engineer, who is proficient in several programming languages and responsible for the development and integration of diverse systems to co-build solutions together with our customer. These solutions will contribute to our state-of-the-art Air Simulator project’s delivery to our end users.

**What this role entails**:
Working closely with other internal and external teams to incorporate their sub-systems (e.g. instructor software, bots, 3D modelling) into a coherent integrated simulator
- Implementing messaging mechanisms to allow disparate, and possibly legacy, systems to communicate with each other
- Adopting the various software development tools and software frameworks that the company project team uses
- Generating engineering documentation within the team, to document the various requirements, design, and test areas to be developed

**What this role will require**:
A minimum of 5 years experience in software development is required for this role.
- Experience in leading/managing a team will be a plus.
- While company-sponsored training courses and guidance may be provided, independent learning and being a team player is required, to fit into the team’s culture
- Being comfortable to engage and communicate with end users, customers will be a plus
- Good knowledge or practical experience in several programming languages (C++, C#, Java, JavaScript) will be a plus
- Knowledge of distributed simulation technologies such as HLA and DIS will be a plus
