**KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION**

You will be a part of the Software Engineering team focused on engineering culture and DevOps. In your role as Lead Software engineer you will work in a product organization building and operate an advisory platform used by our relationship managers globally to holistically advice our private clients.

**Your day-to-day work**
- Work together in a global cross functional team using agile methodologies as part of a DevOps centric model.
- Support hiring and supervising staff to build a high performing software engineering team.
- Understand business needs by working together with your colleagues from across different divisions.
- Take part of planning and feature refinement sessions together with your team.
- Close collaboration with product owner, product management, system architects and ART leadership team.

**Your responsibilities**
- Together with our System Architects design software solutions that are aligned to our client’s overall architecture vision.
- Actively take part on our Software Engineering communities, sharing your knowledge, and helping others.
- Servant leader and role model within the engineering team.
- Deliver high quality code, aligned with our client’s guidelines and standards.
- Actively manage, coach, and develop your team
- Local responsible for provider management of contractors/consultants in your team.

**SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION
**Our technology stacks**
- .NET Core and Framework, Entity Framework
- Service oriented architecture, RESTful services
- SQL (MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres)
- Angular, React, both JavaScript and Typescript
- Kubernetes (PKS) and Virtual Machines
- Streaming using Kafka, Avro
- Open API, UML

**What we expect from you**
- A proven track record of success in leading software development teams (>10 years)
- You have a can-do attitude; you are pragmatic and open-minded.
- Entrepreneurial mind-set, your ideas are welcome.
- Proven delivery experience in Software Engineering using industry standards such as test oriented development using TDD and BDD. (> 15 years)
- Proven work experience as an Engineering Manager or similar role.
- Understanding of DevOps concepts such as CI/CD and the importance and value of automated testing.
- Willingness to learn new ways of working while supporting Julius Baer to transform itself.
- You take pride of your work and strive to lead by example.
- Min. bachelor’s in computer science or any other related area, or proven relevant working experience.
