**Main Responsibilities**

Accounting and controlling tasks
- Responsible for monthly closing of group accounts and preparation of schedules for analysis.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Closely monitor and ensure accurate and timely payments/receipts within preset standardized turnaround times and ensure compliance to SLAs
Understand and assist in defining standard operating procedures to strengthen internal controls
- Challenge the different aspects of the business and propose new actions to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Monitor and control bank accounts, statements, and balances

Integration of ETRM with the accounting system
- Be involved in the process of integration of ETRM with accounting system

Reporting, audit and tax compliance tasks
- Preparation and submission of quarterly and annual Financial Reporting Package for companies assigned
- Analysis of periodical results and presentation to management when required
- Prepares corporate tax computation, GST and withholding tax reporting
- Liaise with external tax consultants and ensure compliance with local and Group tax requirements.
- Coordination with external auditors for all audit related work in relation with Group requirements and statutory audits.
- Ensure finalization and timely issuance of annual statutory Financial Statements for companies assigned

- Working on different projects within the team or with other teams
- Other ad-hoc works as delegated
**Requirements**:

- Qualified Accountant - ACCA/Degree in Accountancy
- Big 4 audit firm/group reporting background preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting systems and processes
- 5+ years of strong accounting experience
- Experience in the energy/commodity trading industry is preferred
- Solid foundation in generally accepted accounting principles (IFRS)
- Ability to multi-task and meet assigned deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Highly detail oriented and work organized
- Ability to act and operate independently with mínimal supervision from line manager
- Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of employees and management
