**Overview**:
You will lead a Purchasing team of professionals, all assigned to support a multiple Medical Centres cross Singapore. Ensures compliance of these transactions with robust training and guidelines to the team. Participates or leads company projects related to efficiency improvement, or the roll out of new processes and tools. Leads coordination between Procurement and Account Payable Team, to ensure smooth transactions and operations between SoftGrid Health and all local and oversea suppliers.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Manage a Purchasing Team, supporting indirect purchases across the APAC regions.
- Train, support and develop the team to ensure best-in-class Purchasing support to the Business.
- Supervise team activity and monitor KPIs in a monthly dashboard.
- Ensure smooth and efficient coordination between Procurement and Accounts Payable Team.
- Participate in the supplier qualification process for new suppliers.
- Support Indirect Procurement via our Partners as needed.
- Create goals and objectives for the team in alignment with business needs.
- Participate or conduct company projects related to Purchase to Pay process improvement via our ERP systems.
- Able to interact within all levels of SoftGrid Health Management and supplier levels of management.
- Capable of giving clear direction to teams and suppliers.
- Responsible and accountable for accurate master data in the ERP system.
- Responsible and accountable for Purchase Orders compliance.

**Competency Requirements**:

- Diploma or Junior College's Degree or equivalent in Finance, International Business, Healthcare, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- MBA or Master of Finance, Engineering or Supply Chain & Procurement preferred.
- 5+ years of Purchasing or Procurement experience in production or commodity goods.
- Excellent negotiation skill with experience in sales will be preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Chinese or a 3rd Asian language (Japanese / Korean / Thai) will be an advantage to communicate with vendor or suppliers in China, Japan, Korea and Thailand.
- Experience in Medical equipment purcurement will be an advantage.
