What your role is:
You will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of the mechanical systems (including fire protection systems, passenger lifts, plumbing systems, pump system, auto barriers/door, water leak detection system, demister system, etc.), ACMV systems and Building Monitoring System (BMS) for CAAS buildings and facilities supporting Air Traffic Control (ATC) services.
What you will be working on:
You will manage the maintenance contracts, services contracts and supervise contractors to ensure that all systems are operational and properly maintained with minimum disruption to the building operations, operated to the highest performance standards, in accordance with their contracts specifications and in compliance with local code of practice and standards, as well as perform management reporting regarding such contracts. You will be involved in the developing, implementing, reviewing and maintaining the maintenance regime and process to improve and innovate the maintenance activities/contract. You will be involved in the managing the operation of the Fault Reporting Center.
You will also be involved in planning of the equipment life-cycle replacement plan, prepare and manage the improvement/replacement projects on BMS, mechanical system and ACMV system. You will lead initiatives for identifying and implementing innovation through improvement/replacement works to existing indoor air quality, renewable energy system, actively involved in energy efficiency and carbon management study for existing and new equipment for CAAS buildings and facilities. You are to ensure the overall quality and integrity of the projects, manage project resources, finance and schedule by working with both internal and external parties to deliver end products that meet the specified requirements.
You will also be involved in review of requirements and design of new CAAS buildings and A&A projects.
What we are looking for:
- At least a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering;
- You should preferably have at least 5 years of relevant working experience in operations and maintenance of mechanical, ACMV, fire protection systems, BMS, plumbing services;
- Good knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Ability to respond on-site any time and support night works and/or duties;
- Good, strong team player who can work with officers of all levels.
- Possess good communication and writing skills, have good presentation and interpersonal skills, positive work attitude and an aptitude for details;
- Have an open and analytical mind, be self-driven and ability to find solutions to problems; and
- Ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines
