**What the role is**

Our goal is to create a society with opportunities for all to succeed.
The Residential and Children-in-Care Policy Branch formulates and reviews policies related to housing and social support for low-income and vulnerable elderly, low-income families facing housing instability, and groups at risk of homelessness or destitution. - Review and develop legislation: You will review and develop legislation to strengthen safeguards for vulnerable persons in social residential homes and persons who are destitute. You will also ensure compliance with international conventions.
- Forge partnerships with stakeholders: You will build partnerships with stakeholders to facilitate policy formulation and communication for effective implementation. This involves engaging various stakeholders, such as community organisations, government agencies and international bodies.
