Headquartered in Singapore with presence in the United States and Indonesia, Straits Financial serves as the financial services arm of the CWT Group, a global leading provider of integrated logistics and financial services. We provide a fully-integrated service for our clients to access the financial and commodity derivative markets and will continue to expand into key financial and commodity markets.

This is a new role supporting the Company in managing the client account setup and maintenance function. You will be required to build and manage a team of local and/or overseas colleagues to carry out account static data servicing and maintenance. You may be required to travel overseas on a regular basis.

This position reports to the Managing Director.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Account Static Data Servicing and Maintenance
- Responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate static data set-up and maintenance on backoffice systems (e.g. change of address, commissions, etc.);
- Manage relationship and processes with the departments providing static data sources e.g. KYC team, ETS team, on a professional and effective manner;
- Ensure proper authorization, audit trail, including approvals obtained before any data changes are made;
- Timely updates to clients after changes are effected;
- Ensure proper house-keeping, including managing dormant accounts.
- Operational set-up of customer-related accounts with counterparties
- Responsible for setting-up customer-related accounts, the relevant static data and maintain them on the books of other counterparties (where required);
- Ensure proper audit trail, including approvals obtained before any changes are made
- Ensure timely responses to internal and external requests on static data queries and clarifications in accordance with established SOPs.
- Report generation and data updates
- Develop meaningful reporting metrices to measure and update management on KPIs.
- Develop insightful management information reports to provide analysis on key trends and patterns.
- Annual review of policies and procedures managed by the team.
- Project-manage ongoing process improvements and any other ad-hoc projects, vis-à-vis existing processes, changes in KYC/regulatory environment, new business initiatives or product offerings, including UAT testing on systems.

**Requirements**:
You should possess the following:

- A minimum of a Diploma in Finance, Business, Accountancy or equivalent;
- 5-6 years related working experience
- Meticulous and resourceful;
- Process-oriented and strong believer of setting up “systems” to drive efficient processing;
- Strong sense of urgency and accountability;
- Able to uphold standards under strict timelines;
- Able to work independently under mínimal supervision in accordance to established SOPs;
- Ability to read English and Chinese documents for account setup; ability to speak English is a requirement;
- Operations, static data maintenance and/or onboarding experience will be viewed favourably,
