Senior Finance Analyst, Global Server Operations

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FPA), consulting, a related function, or 7 years with an advanced degree.
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing or supply chain.

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience managing operations through analysis to drive value.
- Knowledge of SQL, ROI Analysis, Inventory Management, and Cost Benefit Analysis.
- Knowledge of data center operations costs and supply chain (e.g., infrastructure, semiconductor, or hardware).
- Understanding of SAP capabilities on finance and supply chain modules.
- Proven success in planning and managing at both the strategic and operational level.

As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.

Technical Infrastructure (TI) is the foundation for Google delivering global data centers, networks, and integrating hardware and software that powers both our customer products/services and our internal operations.

The Global Server Operations team (GSO) monitors the physical/network infrastructure behind Google's technology and holds responsibility for keeping the servers, networks, and logistics processes in Google's fleet of data centers running smoothly and efficiently. **Responsibilities**:

- Act as a strategic business partner to APAC/EMEA regional VP.
- Own Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) responsibilities for the regions including opex, inventory, headcount planning, unit cost analysis, and drive strategic cash flow and margin optimization initiatives across GSO.
- Partner with Technical Infrastructure and Global Server Operations Inventory team to manage inventory, limit waste, and manage cost of reduction projects, business cases, investment, and tracking.
- Develop executive-level presentations and present complex analytical findings in a clear, concise, and decision useful manner.
- Build financial tools to empower operations and drive priortization.
