Singapore LIGATURE THERAPEUTICS PTE. LTD. Full time

1. A Ph.D. in cell biology, molecular biology, or biochemistry. -Or
- A Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.

2. Experience with biochemical and cell-based assays.

3. An ability to work independently and to proactively drive the project toward its objectives.

4. Creativity and troubleshooting skills.

5. A flexible work schedule.

6. Good laboratory skills and meticulous record keeping of experimental data.

7. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

8. A sincere interest in science and a desire to work in a growing start-up environment.

**Duties/responsibilities**:
1. Work closely with senior research staff in executing Ligature’s drug discovery plans.

2. Plan and develop relevant cell-based assays to support drug discovery campaigns.

3. Independently design, optimize, and execute experiments such as western blot, immunoprecipitation, and reporter assays.

4. Experience with CRISPR-based gene editing is desirable.

5. Record, analyze and interpret data from various experiments and present them to the project team in a timely fashion.

6. Work closely with multi-disciplinary team and operations team to support research strategies.

7. Contribute new ideas towards the implementation of state-of-art techniques towards the field of protein degradation.

8. Be accountable for achieving project milestones and delivering on set goals and objectives.

9. Communicate project updates to Ligature’s leadership team.

10. Keep abreast with scientific literature and developments in the field of biology and protein degradation drug discovery.

11. Adhere to LTx’s GLP compliant standard operating procedures for lab operations.
