**Job description**:
Responsibility of the Trading Associate is to provide support to the Trading team with handling of administrative tasks and transactions ensuring a seamless flow of work process.

You will start with six months of extensive training, understanding the various functions in the non-Ferrous team to get a comprehension of how we operate. Continuously, you will work with the Trading team under close supervision, with ongoing coaching, training, and monitoring. From time to time, you may be involved in departmental projects giving exposure to a range of different jobs within the chosen field.

**Job related experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Quantitative Finance, or related field
- A solid understanding of financial markets
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to details
- Team player with strong commercial acumen
- Comfortable addressing change and identifying and offering solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational and strong interpersonal skills
- Service-oriented demeanor with pleasant, business-appropriate manner
- Professional composure, with ability to work in fast-paced and volatile conditions
- Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
- Well-organized, independent, ability to work well under pressure

**Major Job Responsibilities/Duties**:

- Provide support to the Trading team under the supervision of Head of Non-Ferrous Trading APAC
- Perform all checks required for onboarding new vendors and customers
- Managing trading exposure forms, ensuring smooth approval process, onboarding of new vendors, updating of payment terms and managing increase of trading limits
- Support traders with mixed load offers
- Develop and maintain digital and paper systems of contracts, records, and other documentation
- Coordinate with internal department for trading and operational matters
- Prepare daily/weekly trading reports
- Manage and update the trade list daily
- Manage and update Global Non-Ferrous Trade export pricing indications reports
- Build global product library by region and product
- Involved in meetings with the trading team
- Ad hoc projects on an as needed basis
