Job Scope:
- Manage Overall Accounting for the Chartered Investment Managers as well as other Chartered Group companies (Local & Overseas)
- Managing and processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable for assigned entities and vendors on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Liaise with to ensure the payroll information (joiners, leavers, deductions, pay adjustments, etc) are updated. Arrange approval & prepare payment of net salaries, payroll taxes and CPF on monthly basis.
- Monitor and manage cashflow forecast for all bank accounts and handle all communication with banks.
- Review month end reports to ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with local accounting standards with external accountant.
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial budget and forecast exercise.
- Ensure timely submission of GST return and compliance with corporate tax, GST and withholding tax.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies though analyzing and collecting information.
- Main liaison for assigned entities for auditing, liaising with auditors, assist in financial year-end audit and attend to any audit queries from external audits and IRAS.
- Assist Compliance Officer in preparation of reports to be submitted to Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and other statutory and regulatory reporting
- Perform other adhoc duties assigned by management
Qualifications and Skillsets needed:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, Field of Study: Finance, Accounting related field
- Minimum 7 years’ experience of relevant finance experience in the financial industry, fund management or trust.
- Able to use Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft 365 and Teams, Zoom
- Seeking those who are highly motivated and be a team player at all times.
