**Position Overview**:
Cambridge Associates has made a strategic commitment to grow it’s footprint in the Asia Pacific region. The firm currently has offices in Beijing (10 years), Singapore (20 years), Sydney (10 years), and opened an office in Hong Kong in 2021. To support the firm’s growth, Cambridge Associates is looking to hire a RegionHead to lead Cambridge Associates’ Asia rapidly growing client business and Investment Research team. This position will be accountable for setting regional strategy, delivering the firm for clients, business growth, regional operations and team management and development across Asia. The Region Head will be skilled at developing and executing strategy for the region by being actively involved and managing the various pieces of the day-to-day business in Asia.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for the development of business strategy, priorities, and goals for Asia in consultation with firm leadership. Meet firmwide strategic goals and build long term business plans for Asia.
- Work with senior leaders in the region to develop regional business plans and resource requirement to meet both regional and firm goals. This would include developing people strategy and career growth for all departments in Asia including Investment Services, Investment Research and Shared Services in consultation with Human Resources.
- Represent Cambridge Associates externally through client engagement, media engagement, conference participation and other business development opportunities both regionally and globally.
- Responsible for client management in Asia. This would include, but not be limited to, client initiatives, client experience, client satisfaction and client retention efforts in partnership with senior leaders in the region and as directed/requested by the Global Head of Private Client Practice.
- Promote thought leadership in the region to benefit Cambridge Associates brand, employees and our internal knowledge base.
- Liaise with the regulatory organizations as Head of the region in Beijing, Hong Kong and Singapore Offices and be the signatory for cheques and Controller of Chops for Beijing
- Be responsible for all Capital Market Research related activities, including but not limited to independent Industry research and sharing strategic insights with Senior Management on trends in the global/regional markets, effectively communicate Cambridge Associates strategic narrative, business outlook and investment thesis to external investors etc.
**Qualifications**:
- BA/BS required. An MBA or CFA strongly preferred
- 15+ years of industry experience preferred, with deep network of relationships in the industry
- Significant experience in setting and executing strategy
- Proven success in leading teams/business with P&L responsibility
- Strong management skills and experience
- Business development orientation and documented track record
- Strong knowledge of investments and asset classes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- This position will be based in Singapore managing Singapore, China and Hong Kong
- The role will require travel across the Greater China region, and Asia more broadly
