**About The Role**

Asan Assistant Director, Finance in ALPS, you will report to CFO and responsible for management accounting, planning and analysis of the company including. Based as ALPS HQ at Bukit Merah-Connection One office, you will be the business partner for business units within ALPS starting up new ventures, project including policy for design and implementation of costing models for products and services rendered to internal and external customers.

**Key Responsibilities**
- To lead in developing and seek approval of the annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- To review the results of versus plans and analyze the variances
- To partner HQ strategic and operation business teams for implementation of new activities and projects to provide preliminary costing for such activities to ensure financial sustainability
- To assess the profitability of existing business activities and projects and ensure that costings are updated timely
- To engage site operations teams to understand their concerns and constraints and to recommend effective work processes so as to ensure the accuracy & completeness of accounting records
- To provide support to the financial accounting team in monthly closing of books and audits
- Continually review existing business processes, policies, costing methodology and thecontrol environment and make recommendations for improvements or updates
- Any other responsibilities including ad-hoc projects as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Degreein Accountancy or ACCA and a MBA qualification is preferred
- Preferably10 years’ experience in a finance or business environment
- Supplychain or healthcare experience will be an added advantage
- Goodanalytical, organizational, writing and communication skills
- Meticulous,resourceful and have a positive work attitude
