**DESIGNER**:
**Primary duties and responsibilities**:

- Responsible for developing engaging and instructional content and learning experiences for XR environments.
- Identifying and evaluating learners’ needs to develop content, storyboard and scripts alongside the Digital Media Specialist to be included in the XR environment.
- Responsible for translating complex concepts into interactive, immersive content.
- Utilise instructional design models (e.g. ADDIE, SAM) to ensure systematic development.
- Responsible for prototyping and testing XR-based learning solutions, iterating on feedback.
- Responsible for evaluating effectiveness of XR learning tools and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with Software Designer and Digital Media Specialist to integrate educational elements effectively.

- Education Qualification:

- Competencies:

- Possess good knowledge of learning theories and adult learning principles to design appropriate XR content for airmen
- Knowledge on how to conduct training needs assessment and define learning objectives and subsequently align XR elements to learning objectives
- Possess good technical skills to design engaging and interactive scenarios to enhance learner engagement.
- Ability to design accessible and inclusive content for diverse learners.
- Ability to work with software engineers, designers and stakeholders to translate learning requirements into XR solutions
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, manage timelines and expectations, and produce high quality deliverables (documentation, presentations and research).
- Working Experience:

- Minimum three (3) years of instructional design experience.

Employment is under a 3 year contract
