Summary:
This Finance Analyst is a 1-year contract (maternity cover) role where he or she will work with the finance/offshore shared service team members to ensure that functions in the Accounting, General Ledger, Budget and Forecast are well-executed.
**Responsibilities**:
- Handle month-end closing process to ensure timely submission of accurate financial reports such as P&L reports, DIVA JGAAP/IFRS submission reports
- Provide insightful analysis of business financial performance in P&L and balance sheets
- identify key performers in financial data
- Perform GL functions such as balance sheet reconciliations, fluctuation analysis, clearing of aged balance
- Prepare and submit pre-audit requests as determined by internal and external auditor
- Assist in monthly forecast and annual budget exercise
- Support monthly GST review
- Other ad-hoc duties
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of working experience, 2-3 years in external audit and 2-3 years in management reporting and GL accounting
- Experience in IT and project-oriented industry (POC revenue recognition) prefered
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SAP
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: $4,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
**Education**:
- Bachelor's or equivalent (preferred)
