1. Role Description:
This position is fully responsible for the transportation of hearses and remains from the morgue, or any other place, to the required destination.

2. Specific Responsibilities:
1.Trainee will be able to manage, direct and monitor the transport service and the overall performance of the transport to increase efficiency and maximise service, performance, value and profit

2.Trainee will be able to show effective liaison, support and assistance with the whole of the organisation and all other departments with transport issues. He/ she will be able to manage and maintain contact and communications with internal and external “client/customers” to achieve, as applicable, best value and satisfaction.

3.Trainee would be able to adjust travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction while obeying traffic laws and regulations, to ensure that the trip stays on schedule. Trainee should also carry out each and every order in a timely manner.

4.Trainee will be able to take responsible for the equipment provided for use in his/her job role and to the team. He/she will be able to ensure that equipment is used in accordance with training provided, the entire organisation’s policies and procedures and the law and using, where applicable any safety equipment or Personal Protective equipment provided.

5.Trainee would be able to develop plans for transport management and maintenance. Trainee will be able to assist in developing plans for team activities to include strategy to achieve agreed targets
