**Job Description**:
We are seeking an accomplished Principal Research Scientist with specialized expertise in Material Science. In this role, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:

- Developing proof-of-concepts (POCs) to demonstrate the viability of DA/AI technologies for diverse Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) businesses.
- Demonstrating the efficacy of research through publications of conference papers, journal articles, and other means to establish intellectual property ownership.
- Collaborating with various business units to translate research outcomes into commercially viable products or services.

**Requirements**:
To be considered for this position, applicants should meet the following qualifications and possess relevant experience:

- A Master's or Ph.D. in Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, along with at least 6 to 10 years of working experience in research and analytical work within the MRO domain.
- Profound technical knowledge and experience in any of the following areas:

- Anomaly Detection (especially for Predictive Maintenance)
- Forecasting
- Computational Fluid Dynamics
- Digital Twins
- Deep Learning
- Agent-based Simulation
- Extensive experience with end-to-end analytics processes, covering ideation/value elicitation, requirements definition, data profiling, analytical modeling, testing, validation, visualization, and solutioning.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a genuine passion for advancing artificial intelligence and data science research.
- Proficiency in SQL (any flavor), Python, R, Matlab, Java, C++, or C.
- Proven experience in preparing research papers using standard document preparation tools such as Microsoft Word or Latex.
- Familiarity with distributed computing, modeling & simulation, optimization, and visualization tools.
- Excellent coordination and time management skills, essential for handling complex projects.
- A willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning.
