Job Title: Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Research Scientist. This is a full-time position that will involve conducting research and development in the field of machine learning, advanced control and optimization algorithms, and carbon capture process operation.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop new machine learning modeling approaches to improve process efficiency and accuracy
  • Design and implement advanced control and optimization algorithms to enhance process performance
  • Optimize carbon capture process operation to minimize emissions and maximize yields
  • Provide regular project updates to principal investigators and funding agencies
  • Write and present reports on research findings and project progress

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • PhD degree in an engineering field related to this project (e.g. chemical engineering, mechanical engineering)
  • Experience in dynamic modeling, machine learning, and optimization & controls
  • Knowledge of carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) technologies and processes
  • Strong command of English language with ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
