Your opportunity
- Working in partnership with the Head of Product, Asia, and the regional head of Distribution, as well as the global product team, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of Janus Henderson’s product strategy and ongoing optimisation of the product offering in Asia
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders across functions and regions, own the end-to-end connceptualisation, prioritisation and delivery of Asia driven fund/share class launches, repurposes and closures
- Identify investment capability gaps and product improvements and lead the business to implement change where required
- Identify scalable growth opportunities aligning Janus Henderson’s investment capability, client demand and operational complexity
- Report to business functions and committees including Global Strategic Product Committee (GSPC) to communicate activities and plans
- Keep up to date on regulations, policy and government actions related to identified growth opportunities and existing product offering
- Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills
- Previous working experience (>5 years) within the funds management industry
- Degree qualified, preferably in a Business, Economics, Finance, Legal or Marketing discipline
- Proven experience in all phases of the product lifecycle, from new product conceptualisation to rationalization of existing product range
- Experience of developing positive relationships across different functions, regions and levels of seniority
- Demonstrates strong emotional intelligence and ability to communicate clearly and persuasively
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complexity; demonstrates perseverance and ability to adapt nimbly, navigating obstacles and objections and leading complex projects to completion
- Highly motivated with a “can do” attitude and willingness to adapt to the needs of the business, both regionally and globally
- Self-motivated with ability to drive initiatives forward while operating as a trusted and motivational member of a global team
- Knowledgeable on the market landscape, and associated regulatory regimes across the Asia region
- The ability to handle several projects simultaneously, yet still maintaining a strong attention to detail and prioritisation
- High level of proficiency across market data tools (e.g. Morningstar, eVestment, Simfund, Broadridge, Bloomberg, Factset)
