The Purchasing and Logistics Specialist will provide commercial and administrative back-office support for purchasing activities with limited supervision (including purchasing & logistics relating to order arrangement, pricing, vessel nomination, and coordinate with both internally and externally on related documentation and operational matters).
**_Responsibilities_**
- Taking, placing, and following orders (PO/CO) for raw materials administration activities in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Complete and update contract summaries.
- Maintain purchasing documents, files, and records for the purpose of ensuring the availability of documentation and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Proactively coordinating with internal customers and suppliers to resolve routine purchasing supply issues; expedite outstanding purchasing orders to ensure delivery requirements are met.
- Processes financial data and documents for the purpose of supporting A/C departmental activities.
- Evaluate/Analyze current procurement activities and recommend improvement through ERP system and standardization.
- Update the changes to related business standard practices and interprets procedures to faculty.
- Reviewing and monitoring ERP data for all business units (Bulk, Container, and Feed Additives), liaison with the team for corrections in order to maintain completeness and accuracy of purchasing data.
**Qualifications**
- Diploma/Degree in International Trade/Supply Chain Management (minimum of 3 years sold experience in Agribusiness Trading Operations)
- Good working knowledge of Import/Export procedures, INCOTERMS, and International Trade is required.
- Knowledge of GAFTA will be an advantage
