Job Description
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Senior Project Management Executive is responsible for managing all aspects of project activities to ensure that projects are completed within established budgets, parameters and schedule, proactively identify the potential operational risks with mitigation plan in place, making sure we deliver and exceed expectation and delight clients.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Oversee and be accountable for the success of all projects executed by the Client Operations team
- Work closely with CI Ops leader and internal teams to ensure compliance and quality standards in project execution
- Responsibility in keeping team members accountable for profitability in all projects run from CI Ops Singapore
- Act as point of contact for escalation, defuse conflicts and troubleshoot issues
- Coach and motivate team members for their professional development and performance achievement
***Team Management
- Proactively identify the resource gap and work with sourcing/HR team to supplement the gap
- Analyze audits of costs and prepare reports
- Develop business continuity plan to enable business to recover from an emergency or disaster
- Document, shares and leverages project lessons learned and promote best practices for continuous improvement
- Facilitate strong cross functional communication by building strong working relationships across departments
- Ensure that all internal systems and documentations are appropriately updated in a timely manner
Project Quotation & Bidding Support
- Regularly track win rate and analyze underlying factors for lost cases and recommend for improvement
- Provide data support on regular RFQ analysis, cost structure benchmark and analysis
People Management
- Establish high standards of performance and hold associates firmly accountable for meeting those standards
- Provide support, recognition and feedback to assist employees to achieve their performance standards
- Act as coach, guide and mentor to address professional development goals and needs of direct reports
- Ensure proper dissemination of information and implementation of company rules, regulations, policies and procedures given the wide-spread of operation associates
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s Degree is required from an accredited college or university
- 2-4 years project management or project delivery relevant experience in market research with managerial accountability is preferable
- Understand project management process in market research industry
- Ability to understand the bigger picture beyond the facts and figures and make business decisions to improve profitability
- Ability to evaluate the viability and effectiveness of various options to identify the best solution
- Ability to adopt a creative approach, generates new and creative ideas that are not constrained by precedent or conventional approaches
- Ability to keep team members focused on results, taking into account cost, timeliness, impact and quality
- Manage difficult client situation to successful resolution
- Ability to build consensus with others through understanding their perspective and focusing on shared goals
- Ability to negotiate to gain a positive outcome despite differing positions
- Ability to communicate and reinforce to others/team on ethics standards and equitable practices
- Ability to generate a positive outlook and actively guides team / others to meet objectives when faced with changing demands / situations
- Ability to proactively seek and seize opportunities to improve overall performance of team by setting individual stretch goals and identify new areas for performance
- Ability to demonstrate effective performance management skills (e.g. coaching, feedback, giving recognition) in a timely fashion to help others excel on the job and meet key accountabilities
- Ability to make effort to identify the areas of improvement and personally coaches others to close performance gaps
- Ability to recognize contributions and achievements of the team
- Ability to maintain target performance levels and the right mix of skills of team members over time
