**Job Overview**:
The Electrical BIM (Building Information Modeling) Modeler is responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining accurate 3D models of electrical systems and components within construction projects. They collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the integration of electrical designs into the overall building model. The role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, proficiency in BIM software, and strong communication skills.

**Responsibilities**:
**Model Development**:

- Utilize Revit software to create MEP service models, particularly emphasizing Electrical and ELV systems, progressing from conceptualization to detailed design stages.
- Prepare accurate Single Line Diagram (SLD) drawings for all MEP services, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
- Demonstrate proficiency in modeling various electrical services, including cable tray layouts, lighting designs, power distribution, earthing, and installation details.
- Efficiently develop Revit families to enhance modeling efficiency and accuracy.

**Design Coordination**:

- Collaborate closely with design engineers to integrate electrical designs into the overall building model, addressing coordination issues and providing necessary information.
- Communicate effectively with project team members to ensure seamless coordination of electrical systems with other disciplines, such as HVAC and Plumbing & Fire Fighting.

**Documentation and Drawing Preparation**:

- Generate comprehensive drawings and documentation for electrical services, encompassing plans, sections, layouts, and installation details, maintaining high standards of accuracy and clarity.
- Prepare detailed drawings for ELV systems, covering CCTV, PAVA, Fire Alarm, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, BMS & SCADA, Data & Telecommunication, Voice Communication, and Digital Signage.

**BIM Standards and Workflow**:

- Adhere to established BIM standards and workflows, ensuring consistency and compliance with project requirements.
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement in BIM processes and methodologies, contributing to the enhancement of project delivery efficiency.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in BIM modeling, specializing in Electrical systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD MEP software.
- Familiarity with Dynamo, MicroStation, and AECOSIM will be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of MEP design principles and standards.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
