The eCommerce Marketplace Specialist supports the eCommerce Marketplace Manager, and be responsible for ensuring the product content, including product attributes, videos, and images, is audited, complete and accurately submitted in accordance with the retailer requirements in the respective portals for multiple customer websites.
Primary / Key Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Ability to successfully use multiple content management systems to effectively publish our product content on customer websites; including and not limited to Wayfair Extranet, Amazon Vendor Central, Walmart, and other proprietary vendor portals to setup product detail pages, enhanced and interactive content
- Work collaboratively across several cross-functional teams as a key member of the Collaboration Team to ensure projects are monitored and products are fully setup online prior on time and prior to receipt of inventory
- Audit initial content submissions to ensure product is live and retail partner websites have content that is complete and accurate to the customer’s standards to optimize product page presentation and conversion rate
- Leverage 3rd Party product content solutions, i.e., Salsify or other PIM systems, when necessary, to upload content to customer sites
- Complete post audits of customer sites to optimize our content and ensure best in class content presentation for product details and imagery
- Manage product content requests that come through ticketing system to create, monitor, and communicate the completion of assignments in a timely manner
- Research industry trends and provide competitive analysis to identify opportunities
- Become expert in content needs for key retailers and understand the style guides, study them to know the requirements for copy, imagery, attributes
- Review existing processes in place and provide feedback to identify/implement improvements to streamline, find efficiencies, and improve productivity
- Demonstrate strong interest in the ability to stay up to date on e-commerce technologies, particularly with CMS (content management systems) to maintain continuous efficiencies through system automation (i.e., Salsify, Syndigo (Sellpoints) and vendor portals)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Precise attention to detail
- Must be flexible but deadline oriented
- Online Merchandising background (preferred)
- Strong ability to prioritize and work independently
- Basic Proficiency with HTML (preferred, not required)
- Data-driven decision making or analysis skills (including deep knowledge of Excel
- Ability to effectively negotiate and persuade with humor, respect, and composure
- Prior PIM and content management experience required, Salsify (preferred, not required)
- Must be a quick learner who is not afraid to track down the information needed to do the job
- Ability to work effectively on multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Education and/or Experience and Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S. in Marketing, Business, or related studies preferred
Minimum Experience: One to two (1-2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

**Salary**: $3,500.00 - $8,000.00 per month
