Marine Superintendent

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide expert advice and guidance on the operational, navigational, cargo, ballast, and mooring related activities of the Tanker vessels under your care.
- Ensure the compliance of the Tanker vessels with the international maritime regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Coordinate and supervise the repairs, maintenance, and inspections of the Tanker vessels, and liaise with the shipyards, contractors, and suppliers as needed.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance and efficiency of the Tanker vessels, and propose improvements and solutions.
- Manage the crew training and development, and assess their competency and performance.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of the Tanker vessels safety, security, and environmental management systems, and ensure the implementation and compliance of the companys policies and procedures.
- Prepare and submit reports and recommendations on the Tanker vessels operations, incidents, and accidents.
- Manage the budget and expenditure of the Tanker vessels, and optimize the cost and quality of the services.
- Communicate and collaborate with the internal and external stakeholders, such as the vessels management, owners, charterers, customers, vendors, and authorities.
- Stay updated with the latest developments and trends in the LNG industry, and participate in the relevant forums and seminars.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of Certificate of Competency Class 1 (Masters) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as sea-going Master or Chief Officer onboard Tanker Vessels.
- Knowledge of LNG vessels operations, equipment, and systems, and their maintenance and repair.
- Familiarity with the international and local maritime regulations, standards, and best practices for LNG vessel.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
