[What the role is]

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join NYP’s Communication & Outreach Department. Hone your skills in business development, event management, and data analysis. You’ll be part of the team to deepen strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including secondary schools, and leverage data to optimise outreach strategies. You’ll also play an instrumental role in guiding prospective students and their families to make informed decisions when choosing their polytechnic course of choice.

[What you will be working on]

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conceptualise, plan, and execute a wide range of outreach initiatives, including exhibitions, campus visits, talks, and course advising. This includes campus-wide events like Open House and the Early Admissions Exercise Festival.
- Support the development and execution of new initiatives to promote NYP’s courses and programmes.
- Identify, nurture, and capitalize on business opportunities while establishing long-term relationships with secondary schools and relevant companies to expand network.
- Inspire and engage a vibrant student volunteer network. Oversee the management of student volunteers, ensuring their involvement in outreach initiatives and events, while providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Gather, monitor, and analyse data to evaluate the effectiveness of engagement and outreach activities, using data-driven insights to improve decision-making.

[What we are looking for]

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Relevant qualification in communications, event management, marketing, or related fields.
- Prior experience in event management, outreach, business development, student/volunteer management, data analytics, or working with youths is highly desired.

**Required Knowledge and Skills**:

- Familiarity with event management, marketing communication, and business development
- Excellent project management skills with an eye for detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and confidently present to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in analysing and interpreting data to derive actionable insights

**Personal Attributes**:

- Proactive, resourceful, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Passionate about connecting with people, managing student engagement, and leveraging data to optimise outreach efforts
- Willingness to work outside of normal office hours and on weekends when required
- Able to travel to various secondary schools for outreach events
