Visual Merchandising Manager, South Asia

**Role Requirement**
- To ensure the Visual Merchandising activities on a company
- wide level are executed according to the corporate’s guidelines, standards, objectives and in accordance to the business plan.
- To ensure that the South East Asia Pacific region VM standards are in accordance to corporate guidelines and business plans
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Sets company-wide standards in accordance to corporate guidelines and business plans
- Maintains overall control of the Visual Merchandising budget and its allocation
- Liaise with Buying, Retail Operations, Communications and other internal functions to ensure appropriate interpretation of strategies.
- Oversee the in-store merchandising and window display for Gucci boutiques in Singapore, Malaysia and Guam to ensure it is in accordance with corporate directives and standards
- Coordinate and communicate with Contractors locally & regionally on the arrangement of props, tools, event set-up, in-store flower/VIP flower arrangement and any issues related to VM
- Ensure in store visual training for all retail staff in 3 countries on visual display standards are conducted
- Work with franchisee stores to train, set visual display standards and participate in initial store set-up
- Served as the regional VM coordinator for the South East Asia Pacific countries to ensure all VM standards are in accordance to corporate guidelines and business plans
- Have high sensitivity to fashion and trends
- Ability to work within budget and cross sourcing/costing to maximise efficiency
- Possess strong creative hand with ability to research and communicate key ideas to drive visual standards
- Ability to work across all levels of the business to drive commercial success
- Possess good interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
- High level of commitment and is passionate in developing a career within the luxury retail industry
- Willing to travel extensively
