**[What the role is]**

To protect the health of Singaporeans by reducing the burden of communicable diseases through evidence-based policy formulation, implementation of effective disease prevention and control programmes, and epidemiological surveillance strategies.

You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.

**[What you will be working on]**

Key Job Responsibilities:

- Formulation, implementation, monitoring and review of disease prevention and control strategies
- Develop and implement surveillance programmes and manage outbreaks/incidents
- Programme management and administration

**[What we are looking for]**

Job Requirements:

- Preferably with L ife Science, Medical, Nursing, Public Health or Epidemiology background
- Minimum 2-3 years work experience work experience in public health or border health
- Experience in working on border health operations policy would be an advantage
- Strong analytical skillsets, including grasp of data analysis techniques
- Ability to work under pressure and simultaneously on different projects
- Excellent organisational skills and resourcefulness
- Good inter-personal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate across disciplines
- Willing to work beyond office hours, especially during outbreaks
- C ontinuously keep up-to-date on new developments in the communicable diseases field
